This report highlights the overall financial position of the Council as at May 2014. The report will cover the following topics: Budget Monitoring summaryCouncil Tax & NNDR collection rates, Debt analysis, Capital Programme summary and Financial Control.

that the financial report for May 2014 be noted.
Minutes:
The report from the Chief Finance Officer highlighted the overall financial position of the Council as at May 2014 covering budget monitoring summary, Council Tax and NNDR collection rates, debt analysis, capital programme summary and financial control. Councillor Pavey (Deputy Leader of the Council) was pleased to report that the capital programme was not forecasting an overspend and improvements had been made in debt collection.
