Purpose:
This decision concerns the Harlesden Gateway High Streets Heritage Action Zone and seeks Individual Cabinet Member approval to waive the contract standing orders (CSO) in relation to the procurement process to appoint a contractor for the shop front works as well as detailing the pre-tender considerations for this procurement activity.
Decision:
(1) To approve a waiver of Contract Standing Order 96 for the requirement to tender for the shop front improvement works along Harlesden High Street and approves the inviting of bids from up to five heritage experienced contractors for the reasons detailed in paragraphs 3.4 and 3.5 of the accompanying report.
(2) To approve the pre-tender considerations for this contract as set out in paragraph 3.6 of the accompanying report.
(3) To approve officers evaluating the bids referred to in (1) above on the basis of the evaluation criteria set out in paragraph 3.6 of the accompanying report.
