Summary
Each year the Local Government Ombudsman issues an Annual Letter in
which he provides a summary of the complaints about the council
that his office has dealt with and reflects generally on the
council’s complaints handling. The Annual Letter for
2006/2007 was issued in June 2007 and this report summarises the
key points and outlines the improvement measures highlighted by the
