Free parking in CPZs on Hindu New Year
There are approximately just over 55,000* Hindus within Brent, and with their vibrant culture and traditions enriching the borough of Brent to be ever more part of a multi cultural society, they are finding it more and more difficult to pay their respects and prayers on one of the most important days in the Hindu calendar.
On a Hindu new year day, many families get together and visit temples and relatives to pay their respects, give their prayers and receive blessings.
By allowing parking free of charge either across the borough or within certain CPZs surrounding temples, this will allow all Hindus to celebrate their new year all fair and well.
We humbly request you sign this petition so Brent council can consider to provide one day to their humble residents to allow them to celebrate peacefully and properly and fairly.
