Authority To Tender - 136 Honeypot Lane (Recordable Officer Decision)
Decision Maker: Strategic Director - Regeneration and Environment
Decision status: Recommendations Approved
Is Key decision?: No
Is subject to call in?: No
Decision:
(1) To approve the invitation of tenders under
a mini competition using the GLA LDP2 Framework Agreement for a
contractor to undertake works at 136 Honeypot Lane on the basis of
the pre-tender considerations outlined.
(2) To authorise officers evaluating the tenders on the basis of
the evaluation criteria outlined.
Reasons for the decision:
To procure a contractor to undertake works at
136 Honeypot Lane including demolition of the existing block and
design and build of a new residential development for residents
with high care and support needs.
Alternative options considered:
Various options for procuring a contractor
have been considered but given the estimated value of the
procurement and limited time available to procure a contractor to
commence in November 2019 the GLA LPD2 Framework is felt to offer
the most appropriate mechanism.
